Toronto's
Heritage
Preservation
Services
has
declared
the old
Cruise
Motel
sign,
which
was
recovered
during
recent
development
activity,
to be of
'cultural
and
heritage
resource
value'
and
should
be
restored.
The
restoration
will be
largely
funded
through
financial
concessions
($30,000)
to be
received
from
Monarch
Developments.
No
completion
timing
has yet
been
determined,
but the
sign
will
eventually
be
stationed
at the
intersection
of Lake
Shore
Blvd.
West and
Marine
Parade
Drive.
