The Funding for restoration of the Newport Beach pond adjacent to Marine Parade Drive at the base of Newport Beach Condominium is in place and construction commenced this past October.

The pond will be circular, surrounded by stonework and feature a central shooting fountain. Seating will also be available for resident and visitors to the area to enjoy the views of the Bay and the downtown skyline. The new design of this restored version of the original pond will eliminate the operational problems previously experienced.  It should be operational by Spring 2006.
