Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat

Are you interested in:

Getting outdoors? Butterflies? Wildflowers? Meeting new people?

Getting your hands dirty?  Giving back to the community?

If so, join the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat Stewards – we participate in a number of events, including invasive species removal, on-going maintenance, mulching, and monitoring. We are always looking for individuals who want to support our site!

What Experience do I need?

While some gardening knowledge or experience is a bonus, it is not necessary - Humber Bay Stewards will receive training and support in plant identification (both desirables and invasive), monitoring techniques and any other necessary skills. All equipment and supplies are provided, including gloves.

When and Where

Stewards meet at the "Home Garden" every Wednesday night (6pm–9pm), from May through September. Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat is located just south of Lake Shore and Park Lawn.
